Carmen Blum

Carmen Blum has extensive experience in translation and interpretation, specializing in Spanish, across various educational and community organizations. Since May 2001, Carmen has served as a Translator/Interpreter for the San Dieguito Union High School District, providing simultaneous interpretation services at numerous meetings and workshops. Since February 2017, Carmen has worked with the Catholic Diocese of San Diego, interpreting at events and translating documents. Additionally, Carmen has been with The City of Encinitas since May 2015, translating materials for community programs, and has participated in the North Coastal Consortium for Special Education since 2005, offering interpretation and translation services related to special education. As a volunteer interpreter for the NCCSE Community Advisory Committee since September 2002, Carmen provides essential resources for parents of children with exceptional needs. Carmen's earlier experience includes serving as a Community Liaison/Bilingual Specialist for the Cardiff School District from September 1996 to May 2001.
