Katelynn Rise

Katelynn Rise currently serves as Deputy Fire Marshal I for the City of Encinitas since November 2022 and has held the position of Administrative Officer at CAL-MAT since April 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Fire Inspector and Disaster Preparedness Assistant for the City of Oceanside, as well as positions in patient services at Scripps Health. Katelynn also has a background in veterinary care, working as an Emergency Room Liaison and Veterinary Assistant. An internship with the City of Oceanside focused on disaster preparedness and social media engagement. Katelynn holds a Bachelor's Degree in Literature and Writing from California State University San Marcos and has studied at the University of Central Lancashire.
