Prior to their university education, Heather Moorhead graduated from Richland High School in the years 1990 to 1994. Heather has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2009, they became a Generalist 4-8 certified by the Texas Education Agency. In 2014, Heather Moorhead obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In 2015, they received the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM. In 2018, they obtained the Certified Automated Pension Plan Practitioner (CAPPP) certification from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP). Most recently, in 2020, Heather Moorhead obtained the IPMA-HR (International Public Management Association for HR) Senior Certified Professional certification.
