Municipality located in Fulton County about ten minutes southwest of Hartfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and about twenty-five minutes from downtown Atlanta. The City of Fairburn has 150 employees with an annual General Fund budget of about $11 million. Downtown Fairburn is centered around the intersection of Highways 29 and 92. Recent annexation has provided exposure to the interchange of Interstate 85 and Highway 74. The City provides traditional police, fire, and public works services to 14,000 residents.
