Michael Smith Jr. is a seasoned photography and video contractor with extensive experience in event coverage and media production, currently working for the City of Fairburn and the City of South Fulton Georgia since 2022. As the owner of Mike Smith Productions, LLC, Michael has led over 200 production projects, collaborating with various organizations including the Public Relations Society of America and Georgia State University. Michael's background includes roles in media assistance, training, and leadership within educational settings, as well as experience as a photographer for WXIA 11 Alive News. Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Managerial Sciences from Georgia State University.

Municipality located in Fulton County about ten minutes southwest of Hartfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and about twenty-five minutes from downtown Atlanta. The City of Fairburn has 150 employees with an annual General Fund budget of about $11 million. Downtown Fairburn is centered around the intersection of Highways 29 and 92. Recent annexation has provided exposure to the interchange of Interstate 85 and Highway 74. The City provides traditional police, fire, and public works services to 14,000 residents. Electric, water, sewer, storm water, and sanitation services are offered as well. Fairburn is a member of the Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia (MEAG) and the South Fultion County Water & Sewer Authority.
