Aaron Meyer

Aaron Meyer, MPA, has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as a Police Sergeant for the City of Fairfield since 2009, with a promotion to sergeant in 2018. In this role, Aaron leads a team of 5-9 officers, overseeing training, performance management, and community relations. Previously, Aaron worked as a Criminal Investigator/Detective from 2012 to 2018, handling major criminal cases and achieving recognition as Officer of the Year. Additional experience includes an internship in economic development with the City of Monroe and service in the United States Air Force as a Security Forces member. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Public Administration from Eastern Kentucky University and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Northern Kentucky University, complemented by professional development training in various law enforcement disciplines. Aaron is also a member of the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police.
