Tyffany Neal, MPA has extensive work experience in the public transportation sector. Tyffany is currently serving as the Transit Director for the City of Fayetteville, North Carolina, a role they have held since August 2022. Prior to their current position, they served as the Assistant Transit Director for the City of Fayetteville from October 2017 to July 2023.
Before joining the City of Fayetteville, Tyffany worked as the General Manager for First Transit from September 2015 to October 2017. Additionally, they participated in the Early Career Program (Class of 2016) at the American Public Transportation Association from May 2015 to September 2016.
Tyffany's earlier experience includes serving as the Operations Manager for the Town of Chapel Hill, NC from December 2009 to September 2015. Prior to that, they worked at Transdev North America, where they held various roles including Director of Operations - Paratransit from March 2008 to December 2009 and Reservations Supervisor from February 2006 to March 2008.
Tyffany Neal earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Strayer University, specializing in Public Administration. Tyffany attended from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist from South Carolina State University, from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their educational background, Tyffany also obtained a Passenger Service and Safety (PASS) Trainer and Driver Certification from the Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) in March 2015.
