James DeChant Jr. is an experienced firefighter, paramedic, and HazMat specialist based in Colorado. Since February 2018, James has served with the City of Colorado Springs, focusing on hazardous materials and lithium-ion battery technology. In addition, James instructs hazardous materials awareness and operations at Pikes Peak State College and serves as a HazMat Specialist with FEMA CO-TF1, contributing to disaster response efforts nationwide.
