Steve Groom, CGFM has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Steve is currently serving as the Finance Director for the City of Federal Way, the 10th-largest city in Washington. Steve also holds the Certified Public Finance Administrator (CPFA) certification from the Association of Public Treasurers of the US & Canada, which they earned in October 2009. In April of the same year, Steve obtained the Certified California Municipal Treasurer (CCMT) certification from the California Municipal Treasurers Association. Steve'searliest certification is the Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), which they obtained from the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) in November 2008.
