Christa Azar, R.A. is an accomplished architect with extensive experience in planning and design. Currently serving as an architect at Integrated Design Solutions since October 2016, Azar also holds a position as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Ferndale, Michigan, contributing to zoning ordinance and master plan updates since January 2004. In addition, Azar worked as an adjunct faculty member at Baker College from September 2010 to December 2018, teaching architectural and construction technology courses. Previous roles include involvement in design and construction services at Wayne State University, design management at Detroit Public Schools, and project management at SHW Group (now Stantec). Azar holds a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Detroit Mercy, along with an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts from Macomb Community College.
