Keith Owsley

Keith Owsley, SHRM-SCP, has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Keith currently serves as the Director of Human Resources for the City of Florence, Alabama, where they are responsible for overseeing all administrative and technical activities related to HR. Prior to this, Keith worked as a Market Human Resource Manager for Walmart for 8 years and as an Area Human Resource Manager, Human Resources Generalist, and Drug Testing Program Administrator for Lowe's Companies, Inc. throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Keith Owsley, SHRM-SCP, completed their Master of Science degree in Personnel Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1985 to 1988. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the same institution from 1982 to 1985. In addition to their formal education, Keith has obtained the SHRM-Senior Certified Professional certification from SHRM in July 2017. Keith also holds a certification in Human Resources and Law from the Institute of Applied Human Resources Management.
