Megan Messmer

Megan Messmer is an experienced public administration professional with a strong background in local government management. Currently serving as the Assistant City Manager and Public Information Officer for the City of Florence, Oregon, since February 2013, Megan has held various roles including City Project Manager and Assistant to the City Manager. Prior experience includes program management at the Oregon Emerging Local Government Leaders Network and administrative support at the National Policy Consensus Center. As a Budget Analyst for the City of Mt. Angel and a Community Development Programs Analyst for the City of Banks, Megan developed skills in budget development and community project organization. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Public Administration with a focus on Local Government from Portland State University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Business Management from Linfield University.
