Jethro Presto

Jethro Presto has a diverse range of work experience. Jethro began their career as a Leadership Development Camp Intern at the American Red Cross in 2017, where they supported the planning and implementation of a high school camp focused on leadership development. After that, they worked as a Community Advocacy Coordinator at Kababayan at UCI, collaborating with a board to promote awareness and enrichment of the Pilipinx culture. At UC Irvine, they served as a Teaching Assistant, leading weekly discussion sections and monitoring student progress. Jethro also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the UC Irvine Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences, performing software maintenance tasks and managing a MySQL database. Additionally, Jethro has experience as a Software Engineer Intern at FinityOne, where they designed web pages and implemented user authentication. At UCI Student Center & Event Services, they served as a Crew Member, leading and managing a team, setting up rooms and equipment, and ensuring compliance with guidelines. Most recently, they worked as a Private Tutor, providing math tutoring to students and creating customized study plans. Jethro is currently employed as a Senior Community Services Assistant at the City of Fontana.

Jethro Presto completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics at UC Irvine from 2016 to 2023. Additionally, they obtained a certification as an (ISC)² Candidate from (ISC)² in June 2023.
