Joshua Cox

Joshua Cox is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the IT Director for the City of Forest Park since September 2021. Previous roles include Virtual Chief Information Officer, Technical Team Lead, and System Engineer at VC3 from May 2013 to September 2021, as well as serving as a Signal Support System Specialist in the United States Army Reserve from April 2008 to April 2014. Joshua's early career included positions as a Network Services Intern at First Citizens Bank and Trust Company, Inc. and an Assembly Technician at Oakwood Products. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Information Technology from the University of South Carolina-Columbia and a Certification as Chief Information Officer from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
