Lilia Hansen

Lilia Hansen has served as the Mayor of Fort St. John since 2017 and is a director on the Peace River Regional District board as well as a steering committee member for the Spark Women's Leadership Conference. Prior to this role, Lilia was a council member for the City of Fort St. John and worked as an Export Advisor for the Export Navigator Program from 2019 until November 2022. Lilia also held the position of Executive Director at the Fort St. John and District Chamber of Commerce from January 2014 to December 2018 and served as the Regional Program Admin Support Section Head for the BC Provincial Government's Ministry of Environment from 2000 to 2012. Lilia's educational background includes studies at Northern Lights College and The University of British Columbia.
