Stephanie Jones-Newlin is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various accounting roles spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant for the City of Fort Worth since February 2021, Stephanie previously held significant positions at Pier 1 Imports, where responsibilities included managing accounting functions and ensuring adherence to GAAP standards. Prior roles at RadioShack Corporation and Zale Corporation focused on journal entries and financial statement preparation. Stephanie began their accounting career at Merritt Hawkins & Associates and has a solid educational foundation with a BBA in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington and an Associate's Degree from Kilgore Junior College.
