Chad Beam

Chad Beam, MPA, NRP, currently serves as the Section Chief at the South Carolina Office of State Fire Marshal since June 2018, while also working part-time as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the City of Fountain Inn since November 2011. Previously, Chad held the position of Captain of Education at Laurens County EMS from June 2016 to June 2018, overseeing clinical excellence and agency operations. Chad's extensive experience in emergency medical services includes roles as FTO-Paramedic with Greenville County Emergency Medical Services, Firefighter/Paramedic at Clemson University Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Technician at Pelzer Rescue Squad. Chad holds a Master of Public Administration from Clemson University and a Bachelor's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Anderson University.
