Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Ryan started their career as an Auditor at the State of Nebraska in 2005. In 2006, they joined the City of Aliso Viejo, where they held various roles such as Accounting Technician, Accountant, Senior Accountant, and Financial Services Manager until 2021. From 2021 to 2022, they served as the Finance Director/City Treasurer at the City of Solana Beach. Currently, they hold the same position at the City of Fountain Valley from 2022 onwards.

Ryan Smith completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1999 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business from California State University, Fullerton, which they completed between 2010 and 2012.
