Matthew Smalley, Ed.D., is an experienced law enforcement professional and educator with extensive roles spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Site-Based Assessor for the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), Matthew also holds the position of Police Lieutenant and Accreditation Manager for the City of Franklin, Tennessee, where responsibilities include managing accreditation and administrative investigations. With a background as a Police Sergeant and Master Patrol Officer, Matthew has a deep understanding of policing operations and training.
