Shanna McCoy has extensive experience in municipal planning and floodplain management, currently serving as the Zoning & Floodplain Administrator for the City of Franklin, Tennessee since February 2020. Prior roles with the City of Franklin include Residential Plans Examiner/Floodplain Administrator and Certified Floodplain Manager, positions held from 2011 to 2020. Shanna began a career in the city as a Permit Technician from 2007 to 2013 and worked as a Supervisor at the South Central Human Resource Agency from 2001 to 2007. Educational credentials include attendance at Vanderbilt University from 1988 to 1991.
