Zachary Williams is a Geographic Information System Specialist currently employed by the City of Franklin, Tennessee since January 2022. Prior to this role, Zachary served as a GIS Specialist at CDE Lightband from June 2019 to January 2022, where experience included working in ArcMap 10.6. Zachary's career commenced as a GIS Technician at Middle Tennessee State University from December 2017 to May 2019, contributing to projects under a grant from the Tennessee Historical Commission and Tennessee Department of Transportation while collaborating with government officials on data classification. Zachary holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography with a focus on Geographic Techniques from Middle Tennessee State University, completed in 2018, and a Certificate Diploma in GIS for Resource Management from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, obtained in 2016.
