Tina Gallegos

Tina Gallegos has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and city planning. Tina currently holds the position of Human Resources Director at the City of Fremont since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an HR Manager at the same company starting from November 2018. Before joining the City of Fremont, Tina served as Assistant to the City Manager - HR at the City of San Pablo starting from May 2013. In this role, they were responsible for managing and coordinating various HR functions. Tina also worked as a City Planner at the City of San Pablo, CA from May 2011 to May 2013, where they managed major development projects and received recognition for their work on the General Plan. Tina began their career as an Associate Planner at the City of San Pablo in August 2005, where they managed development projects and reviewed applications for conformance to planning and zoning requirements. Tina's initial experience in the field was as an Assistant Planner at the City of Union City from August 2003 to August 2005, where they reviewed and approved development plans and conducted research for amending the Zoning Ordinance. Tina Gallegos attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1997 to 2002, where they completed their Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree. During their studies, their major focus was on Architecture, while they also pursued a minor in City Planning.
