Walter Banks

Walter Banks, CGCIO, possesses extensive experience in information technology leadership, currently serving as the Chief Information Officer for the City of Gainesville. Prior roles include Director of Information Technologies for the County of Frederick, Chief Technology Officer for the Downingtown Area School District, and Director of Information Technology for Wilson School District. Additionally, Walter has held the position of IT Manager/IT Director at Bordentown Regional Schools. Walter holds a Master’s degree in IT Project Management from Capella University and has furthered education at Rutgers University - Newark.
