Tyson Arnold, PE, is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in public works. Currently serving as Senior Assistant City Engineer for the City of Galveston since January 2022, Tyson previously held the position of Project Manager at DEC | Engineering Excellence from May 2012 to January 2022, focusing on water and wastewater projects. Tyson's earlier career includes various roles such as deck hand at Angler Fishing Charters, a Hunting & Fishing Associate at Academy Sports + Outdoors, and a valet attendant at Wyndham Historic Hotels. Additionally, Tyson has experience in the hospitality industry and electrical work as an electrician's assistant. Tyson holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston and previously attended The University of Texas at Austin for the same degree, along with a high school diploma from Ball High School.
