Rusty Georgia Maxwell possesses extensive experience in wellness programming and senior services. Currently serving as the Senior Center Supervisor for the City of Garland since February 1998, Maxwell manages an older adult recreation center within Garland Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts. Prior to this role, Maxwell was the Director of Wellness Programming at Chambrel at Club Hill from September 1989 to October 1997 and held the position of Wellness Program Supervisor for the Dallas Independent School District from August 1986 to May 1991. Additionally, Maxwell served as an Account Manager at Baylor Center for Health Promotion, where responsibilities included promotional activities for various major organizations. Educationally, Maxwell earned a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas between 1990 and 1993.
