Marva Sargent is a seasoned professional in information systems with extensive experience in database administration and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Sr. Database Administrator for the City of Garland since May 2010, Marva oversees application delivery and support, negotiating product solutions and managing ongoing technology support. Previous roles include Technical Lead at McKesson, where Marva supervised a team on major projects, and System Analyst at Eastman Kodak, focusing on PC design and implementation. Marva began a career as a PC Systems Analyst at The Dallas Morning News and holds a Master's degree in Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from LeTourneau University.
