Matt Grubisich

Matt Grubisich serves as the Parks Director for the City of Garland since August 2020 and has held the position of Director of Operations & Urban Forestry at the Texas Trees Foundation since 2010. The Texas Trees Foundation is dedicated to preserving and expanding public natural green spaces and enhancing urban areas through tree planting and educational initiatives focused on the urban forest. Prior to these roles, Matt Grubisich worked as a Consulting Arborist/Urban Forester for Urban Renewal, Inc. and as a Regional Urban Forester for the Texas Forest Service. Education was completed at Iowa State University from 1995 to 1999.
