Mona Woodard is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community service and banking. Since December 2003, Mona has served as the Housing and Community Services Director for the City of Garland, leading various federal and state-funded grant programs aimed at revitalizing neighborhoods and providing safe, affordable housing to low and middle-income households. Prior to this role, Mona worked as the Convention and Visitors Bureau Coordinator for the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce, where coordination of events such as the Rodeo Parade and Balloon Festival took place from February 1996 to April 2001. Additionally, from April 1983 to May 1995, Mona held the position of Consumer Banking Manager at NationsBank (now Bank of America), overseeing daily operations and fostering a customer-focused sales culture.
