Rebecca King, PMP, CBCP has over 20 years of work experience in the government sector, specifically with the City of Garland. Rebecca began in 1995 as a Management Analyst and then became a Project Manager in Organizational Development in 1999. In 2003, they were promoted to the role of Director of Organizational Development. Later in 2015, they became the Managing Director of Community and Neighborhood Development, overseeing various departments including Community Development, Office of Neighborhood Vitality, Garland Housing Agency, and the Nicholson Memorial Library System. Rebecca also gained experience in the Office of Strategic Initiatives, Office of Emergency Management, and Downtown Development Office.
