Sean Taplin serves as the Geographic Information Systems Manager for the City of Garland since 1999, where previously held the role of Lead GIS Analyst. Prior experience includes a position as Vice President at InterContinental GIS from April 2005 to September 2007, and as a GIS Analyst at Geo-Marine Inc. from 1994 to 1999. Sean's early career includes work as a CAD Technician at Libla Communications, Inc. in 1993 and as an Engineering Intern for the Texas Department of Transportation in the same year. Educational credentials include an Associate of Science degree from North Central Texas College, along with studies at Texas A&M University and the University of North Texas.
