Melinda Buker has over a decade of experience in leadership and management roles within the City of Gold Coast, currently serving as the General Manager of Gold Coast Libraries. Previously, Melinda held positions such as Executive Coordinator for Gold Coast Water and Waste, where responsibilities included overseeing the Customer Connections section to enhance service quality and stakeholder engagement. Melinda's career also includes roles as Coordinator of Customer Management and Directorate Projects, along with experience as a Director at R G Buker Pty Ltd, Program Director at the Australian Logistics Council, and the owner of a personal training business, Big Belly's. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business and a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management from Griffith University.
