Rudy Perez has extensive experience in law enforcement and organizational leadership, currently serving as an Executive Board Member, Immediate Past President, and Senior Advisor at the National Association of School Resource Officers since March 2012. Rudy collaborates on international school safety initiatives and has held various leadership roles, including President and Vice President within NASRO. Additional roles include Assistant Chief of Police for the City of Golden Valley, MN, board member for the Minnesota Justice Research Center, and a representative member for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Rudy co-founded Friends of Safe Schools USA, contributing to national safety and education efforts, and has a robust background with the Los Angeles School Police Department in various leadership capacities.
