Joseph Stewart

Joseph Stewart is a seasoned professional in economic development and business management with a diverse background spanning over a decade. Currently serving as Business Development Manager and Economic Development Project Manager for the City of Goodyear since January 2022, Joseph focuses on recruiting and expanding businesses in retail, restaurant, and hospitality sectors. Previous roles include Management Analyst for the City of Carlsbad's Innovation & Economic Development Department, and Program Analyst for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, where Joseph coordinated among various stakeholders on policy analysis and special projects. Joseph's experience also encompasses internships within the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, teaching, and event planning. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in International Public Policy and Management from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the University of San Diego.
