Katie Wilken serves as the Development Services Director for the City of Goodyear since October 2005, overseeing the Planning & Zoning Division and Code Compliance Division. In previous roles, Katie held positions such as Planning Manager and Interim Assistant to the City Manager, where responsibilities included managing the Goodyear 2025 General Plan update and providing project management support to the City Manager's Office. Prior experience includes serving as Planner II in Rockford, IL, focusing on long-range planning and downtown redevelopment, as well as work as Project Manager/Graduate Assistant at Southeast Neighborhood Development CDC. Katie holds a Certified Public Manager certification from Arizona State University, a Master's in Urban and Regional Planning, and a Bachelor's in Urban Planning and Development from Ball State University.
