Paula Ilardo has an extensive career in economic development and marketing, currently serving as the Economic Development Director for the City of Goodyear, AZ, since August 2002, where responsibilities include overseeing a department focused on business attraction, retention, and redevelopment. Previously, Paula served as the Director of Marketing/Communications for the City of Glendale, being the first Municipal Marketing Director in the nation, and managed various initiatives including tourism, public information, and redevelopment projects. Early career experience includes a role as Sr. Product Manager for Dial Inc., overseeing marketing and market research for new soap products, and positions in market research and advertising with Burgoyne Market Research and Leo Burnett Advertising. Paula holds a BA in Creative Writing from DePauw University and further education from Arizona State University.
