Richard Ortiz CYSA, CPRP has extensive experience in recreation management, serving in various capacities since 2007, including Recreation Coordinator and Recreation Specialist at the City of Goodyear, where responsibilities included customer service, staff supervision, and event coordination. Ortiz has also worked as a Recreation Leader III in the City of Peoria, overseeing youth sports and special events, and held several roles in the City of Avondale, focusing on facility management, program implementation, and staff training. Additional experience includes internships and positions in golf course management and clubhouse support, emphasizing a commitment to effective communication and community service. Ortiz holds a Bachelor's Degree in Parks and Recreation Management from Arizona State University and an Associate's Degree from Glendale Community College.
