Dana Woods

Dana Woods, AICP, currently serves as a Senior Park Project Manager and Senior Planner for the City of Grand Prairie since January 2021. Prior to this role, Dana worked as a Principal Planner for the City of Burleson, managing annexation processes and updating zoning ordinances from September 2019 to October 2020. Dana's experience includes planning positions in Cedar Hill, focusing on development applications and compliance reviews, as well as earlier roles in engineering and design with firms such as Hulsey Engineering and Halff Associates. Dana holds a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and a GIS Certificate, all from The University of Texas at Arlington, and has a background in domestic coordination.
