Kamal Sapkota, EIT, CFM is a civil engineer currently working for the City of Grand Prairie since July 2021, where responsibilities include managing and overseeing private development projects and conducting reviews of engineering plans. With prior experience as a civil engineer at the City of Waco, expertise includes Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and adherence to Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) standards. Kamal also has experience in project administration from a role at the City of Arlington, internships focused on geotechnical and structural engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington, and leadership training from the United States Air Force ROTC. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, following a Bachelor's degree in the same field, an Associate in Science, and a Diploma in Engineering.
