Mike Hoeker

Mike Hoeker is currently an Assistant City Attorney II at the City of Grand Rapids. Prior to this, they worked as an attorney advisor at the us department of health and human services from November 2015 to May 2016. Mike also worked as a regulatory counsel at the fda from June 2015 to October 2015. From May 2008 to August 2008, they were a summer law clerk at Cunningham Dalman, P.C. Mike interned at the U.S. Department of Justice from May 2007 to August 2007. From August 2004 to June 2006, they were a sales associate at Rapidparts Inc. Mike then became a staff attorney at the District of Columbia Court of Appeals from May 2016 to May 2019. Finally, they were a law clerk to the Hon Tanya S Chutkan at the U.S District Court from July 2014 to January 2015.

Mike Hoeker received their doctor of jurisprudence from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law and their bachelor of arts from Calvin University.

They work with Phillip Strom - Deputy City Attorney, Angela Ross - Director of Legal Affairs - Enforcement, and Sherry Batzer - Director of Legal Affairs - Municipal Affairs. Their manager is Anita Hitchcock, City Attorney.
