Blair Wade

Blair Wade is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and intergovernmental relations, currently serving as a Strategic Communications Advisor for the City of Grande Prairie since June 2017. Prior roles within the City include Strategic Communications and Intergovernmental Relations Supervisor and Communications and Research Coordinator, focusing on enhancing awareness of social programs and improving program delivery. Other notable positions include Communications Assistant, Marketing and Events Coordinator at the Students' Association of Grande Prairie Regional College, and various roles in tourism and event management. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Honours) from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Arts - University Transfer from Grande Prairie Regional College.
