Icma-Cm Samantha D. Abell

Samantha D. Abell, ICMA-CM, currently serves as the City Manager of Gulf Breeze, a position held since May 2017, after previously functioning as Deputy City Manager from July 2016 to May 2017. Prior experience includes City Manager of Gautier, MS, from February 2012 to April 2016, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing city government operations. Samantha also held roles such as Director of Economic Development/Planning in Gautier, Planning and Economic Development Manager in Fort Walton Beach, and City Planner in North Little Rock. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of Professional Studies in Community Economic Development from Penn State University and a B.S. in Public Administration and Urban Studies from Georgia State University.
