In 2015, Hardeeville grew by 544 residents and by 11.44%, and was the second fastest growing city in SC behind the town of Blythewood. The City continues to be financially stable and maintain healthy reserves. The City Council for the fourth year in a row has lowered the City’s millage rate from 153 to 130.
