Harriet Flynn

Harriet Flynn is an experienced outdoor recreation professional with a diverse background in program development and leadership. Currently a Co-Founder of the Community Gear Library, Harriet focuses on increasing access to outdoor activities in the Shenandoah Valley. As a Recreation Program Supervisor for the City of Harrisonburg, Harriet oversees recreational initiatives. Previous experience includes serving as the Director and Associate Director of the Outdoor Learning Center at Endless Horizons, where program management and curriculum development were key responsibilities. Other roles include program instruction at YMCA Camp Copneconic, an international internship with Cru Global, and facilitating team-building programs at The EDGE. Harriet holds a Bachelor of Science in Health, Fitness, and Recreation Resources from George Mason University.
