Judith Rothschild's work experience includes positions at various organizations. Judith currently serves as the Director of Blight Remediation and Housing Code Enforcement at the City of Hartford. Judith is also a Board Member at the Hartford Land Bank. From 2011 to 2021, they worked as a Practitioner in Residence at the University of New Haven, primarily in the Department of Criminal Justice. Prior to that, they were a Supervisory Assistant State's Attorney at the State of Connecticut, Division of Criminal Justice, Office of the Chief State's Attorney, where they focused on housing prosecutions. Judith also worked as an Associate Attorney at Sachs, Berman, Rashba & Shure, PC, and at the Law Offices of Slavitt, Connery & Vardamis.
Judith Rothschild obtained a BA degree in Political Science with a minor in English from the University of Connecticut, where they studied from 1978 to 1982. Subsequently, they attended Quinnipiac University School of Law from 1982 to 1985 and earned a Juris Doctor degree specializing in Law. In addition to their formal education, Judith also obtained a Police Instructor Certification from the State of CT Police Officer Standards and Training Council in January 1991.
