Libby Rush

Libby Rush has extensive experience in procurement and purchasing, currently serving as a Senior Buyer for the City of High Point since June 2014. Responsibilities include processing bids, preparing contracts, training staff on procurement policies, and negotiating terms with vendors. Prior to this role, Libby was a Buyer for the City of High Point, ensuring compliance with local and state procurement guidelines. Libby began a career in purchasing as a Purchasing Assistant at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where responsibilities included managing fixed assets and surplus property. Libby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and Teaching from Western Carolina University, obtained in 1996.
