The current leadership team at the City of Highland Park has a wealth of experience in a variety of industries. The city manager has experience as a deputy city manager and as a past president at ILCMA. The deputy village manager has experience as a member of the board of trustees at Warrenville Fire Protection District and as a firefighter/paramedic & public education officer at Highland Park Fire Department. The VP of financial planning & analysis has experience as a senior associate at Eckroth Planning Group, Inc. and as the vice president of finance at ACCO Brands. The lecturer has experience as the vice president of finance at Motorola and as an Edgar Fellow at Institute of Government and Public Affairs - University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Lastly, the attorney has experience as a legislative aide - Rep. Karen May at State of Illinois. All members of the leadership team have received education from esteemed universities such as DePaul University, Northern Illinois University, Loyola University Chicago, University of Chicago, Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
