Darby O'Brien

Darby O'Brien is an experienced professional with a focus on urban design, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Currently serving as a Development Services and Urban Design Intern at the City of Hillsboro since September 2022, Darby previously contributed as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee Member for Citizens' Climate Lobby, where initiatives were researched and created to foster inclusivity in the Greater Cleveland Area. An Equity and Inclusion Intern at The Wilderness Society, Darby skillfully supported the annual report preparation and presented organizational survey findings to executive council members. Additional experience includes roles at The O'Brien Law Firm LLC, Fidelity Investments, the University of Cincinnati as a Student Orientation Leader, and as a Camp Counselor at Kidz Camp. Darby holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati.
