Lauren Scott

Lauren Scott is a seasoned public information officer currently serving the City of Hillsboro since June 2022. Prior to this role, Lauren engaged with the City of Tigard from September 2016 to June 2022, leading communication and community engagement initiatives on various city projects such as economic development and transportation planning. With previous experience as a catering and events manager for Grand Cru Hospitality and as an English Language Manager and Kindergarten Teacher at the Canadian International Education Organization, Lauren has developed strong managerial and team-building skills. Lauren's career began at the World Forestry Center, where progressive roles in events and marketing led to notable successes in attendance and revenue growth for large-scale events. Lauren holds a degree from Oregon State University.
