Janelle Richards

Janelle Richards has extensive experience in economic development, marketing, and communications, currently serving in a role focused on these areas at the City of Hollywood, Florida since October 2021. Prior to this position, Janelle worked at Broward Health as a Public Relations and Internal Communications professional from July 2018 to October 2021, and at Orlando Health in a similar capacity from July 2017 to August 2018. Janelle’s career includes significant roles in program management and community outreach at Emory Healthcare, management training at Enterprise Holdings, and administrative support at Broward County Schools. Janelle began in communications as a specialist at the University of Florida, building foundational experience in media as a writer, producer, co-host, and production assistant for various broadcast entities. Janelle holds a degree from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications.
