Yaakov Flamholtz (John)

Yaakov (John) Flamholtz is a skilled Network Engineer with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures. Currently employed at the City of Hollywood, Florida, since October 2018, Flamholtz oversees the performance, availability, and security of local and metropolitan area networks while providing technical support for information systems. Previously, Flamholtz served as Director of IT and Director of Technical Solutions at Avante Group Inc., where leadership was provided to the IT team and strategic technology initiatives were directed, along with managing software development using agile methodologies. Flamholtz began the professional journey as a Systems Administrator, responsible for maintaining a large number of servers and workstations. Flamholtz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Touro University.
